Sephora: a whole new level of retail graphics!
The launch of a big brand at The Trafford Centre required a BIG presence
We have been doing retail graphics for a while for brands such as Marks & Spencer, but they’ve often been confined to the stores themselves. We’ve also done a lot of hoarding graphics for The Trafford Centre around the malls for brands and for the centre itself. However, our latest project is off the scale in terms of creating a huge presence. So much so that The Trafford Centre calls it ‘brand domination’.

Sephora is a huge global brand with only a few stores opened so far in the UK. Therefore, launching its first store in the north of England was always going to be a big deal. We worked closely with Sephora, The Trafford Centre, and other partners to flood the space with the instantly recognisable black and white branding. This included a suite of printed and digital media across multiple surfaces.
This encompassed:
- Door graphics at 3 entrances
- Column banner at the Great Hall entrance
- Graphics applied to stairs and landings, including wayfinding graphics
- Large format wayfinding wall mural
- Internal column wraps
- Graphics applied to glass balustrades throughout the centre
The iconic Sephora bag

The main focal point for the whole campaign was a large-scale Sephora gift bag, suspended from the famous arched glass ceiling, which we fabricated and hung in place (with the help of a spider crane, cherry picker, and a team of installers!).
It was a fantastic project to be involved with and was even worth hardly sleeping for 6 weeks as we got everything ready!
